What is the maximum span between posts?
Answer:
Our engineering testing supports maximum spans of 8’ with pickets and 6’ with glass. Runs beyond this will need an in line post to comply with building code requirements.

Regal Railing is available in 5 colors – White, Black, Yard Bronze, Taupe and Beige

What are the dimensions of the posts?
Answer:
The post body is 2 1/4″ square with a 4″ base plate
Question 4:
How tall are the railing and posts?
Answer:
The railing is designed to be 42″ high off of the deck surface. The post is slightly taller than this (42.75″) to support the railing.
Question 5:
Are there any other railing sizes available outside the standard 42″ height?
Answer:
Yes, we also offer 36” high railing in white picket only and a 60” high wind wall system with glass in all 5 standard colors.

What styles of railing are available?
Answer:
The standard 42” railing is available in tempered glass and three styles of picket; straight, wide and basket pickets. Check our catalogue (under the “links” section in the main tool bar of this web site) for other options such as decorative post caps & decorative pickets.
Question 7:
How tall is the glass for Regal Railing and what sizes are available?
Answer:
The glass is designed to be fit between the top and bottom rail. The actual size of the glass is 35 7/8″ high by 1/4″ thick. Glass widths are inventoried from 6″ to 66″ in 3″ increments.
Question 8:
Are tempered glass panels available for stair sections?
Answer:
Yes, there are 6” wide angled glass panels for stair railing that will work on most standard stairs with 7″ rise and 11″ run or angles between 33-37 degrees.

What sizes of tempered glass panels are available for windwall?
Answer:
Wind wall glass is available in 31” and 43” widths. All our glass is 1/4” thick clear & tempered to meet building code.
Question 10:
What is the wind rating?
Answer:
The glass has been wind load tested to 150 mph. This testing is available for your building department on request.
Question 11:
How tall are the pickets?
Answer:
The pickets for the 42″ rail are designed to be fit between the top and bottom rail. The actual picket height is approximately 36 5/8″. The stair pickets are approximately 29 3/4″ to accommodate the shorter requirements for stair applications.

Is there an additional charge for colors?
Answer:
There is no additional charge for our five standard colors. The current colors are white, black and beige with a gloss finish. Taupe and yard bronze come in a flat textured finish.

Is it possible to special order any custom colors?
Answer:
All of our warehouses inventory all parts in all standard colors. It is not possible to order custom colors.

Are fasteners included with each component?
Answer:
Fasteners are sold as a separate part by the box.
Question 15:
How wide is the gate and what comes with it?
Answer:
The complete gate is designed to fill a 48″ opening. The gate itself is 46 1/2″. It comes with hinges and a latch which each take up 3/4”. Screws are ordered by the box and come separately.

What is the warranty policy?
Answer:
The railing is covered for twenty years against any material defects for the original purchaser. Making a warranty claim will require proof of purchase and evidence of a claim. Approved claims will have defective product replaced with new.

We provide displays to our retailers. The retailer you are dealing with can show you a sample of our product.

Can a representative come and measure my deck?
Answer:
The retailer you are working with may have an installs division that provides this type of service. Alternatively, the store may be able to provide a list of local contractors.
